About

The Jewellery excellence

“Together, we face up to challenges to go to the very limits
of the jewel’s imaginary, down to the smallest details”

Plumpness, volumes, colours, the Daymard world is joyful and generous! To craft these beautiful jewels, Catherine Daymard enjoys marrying the preciousness of gold and gems with poetic materials such as blown glass or feathers.
She surrounds herself with talents of the Place Vendôme and renowned craftsmen.
For each project, she forms an ad hoc team of art masters dedicated to the making of the jewel, and it remains each time a thrilling creative adventure to the final piece.

The Coloquinte is enchanted, the Maharaja ring changes, Earth spins… technical challenges that the master jewellers face thanks to their ingenuity and high-jewellery experience.

Remarkable work of the gem-setter on the golden cabbage to show the morning dew with diamond droplets and stage the green sapphires caterpillar, already at work, becoming in no time at all… a sparkling butterfly.

On the Collerette Ring, each pink opal godronhas been cut to measure. It is the lapidary’s expertise to choose the finest material and cut it in order to get the best out of it and fit generously between each fold of metal.

The Birds of Paradise love each other so much that from their union was born a rosary of beaded eggs, and the crafting of each enchanted bead was assigned to the flame of a glass bead artist with unique savoir-faire.

To create the Maharaja’s white down plume, the talent of Éric Charles-Donatien, working with Haute-Couture establishments as a feather master, was called upon.

The enameller looked for the finest colour powders to crown Hagia Sophia’s dome and her mastery of traditional heat enamelling on gold enabled to create a sky-coloured finery!

Exceptional materials

The finest materials are sought: quality raw gems, cabochons with a nice depth, facetted gems with the nicest sparkles, precious gems with fascinating colours, exceptional beads and pearls, delicate feathers …

Their source is at the heart of our concerns and we favour short circuits, with the least intermediaries possible. The diamonds are natural and “Kimberley Process” certified. For the gold and other precious metals, we work with RJC (Responsible Jewellery Council) certified companies and we prefer to use recycled gold.

The fruit of exceptional savoir-faire
and wonderful materials,
each DAYMARD piece of jewellery
is unique and made in Paris.
