About

Catherine Daymard

“In fact, I am a jewellery storyteller and when I present a jewel, it is a
whole imaginary world that appears!”

When Catherine Daymard welcomes us at her creation space, she also gives us the key to understand her world. Inspiring objects fill desks, tables and shelves. We see a sculpted copper tortoise, a pumpkin-shaped jewellery box, an elephant statuette brought back from India, a crystal jar with diamonds pattern, an ostrich feathers bouquet… All objects full of memories, nurturing a particular creativity.

Celebrate with a piece of art. For Catherine Daymard, jewellery and pieces of art embody generosity. “At important times of my life, my mother gifted me jewels.  I could see in her eyes such a delight to offer me these beauties, that it is this unforgettable happiness that drives me today, to the point of wanting to see it in the eyes of women. Accompanying life, love, beauty, what a joy!” So that every celebration is always followed by a work of art.

“Creation is what makes me happy.

“Creation is what makes me happy.

The garden as a creative paradise. In persian, the word garden was said “pairi-daeza” which ended up to Paradise. The garden of the Daymard world looks like the genesis. It is also the occasion for Catherine Daymard to look back to her most marvellous childhood memories: a sunny garden in the countryside, inhabited with familiar birds, a khaki tree crumbling with generosity, large pumpkins quite round and mysterious. Magic and enchantment nourish the Daymard world. Seeds of Tales and fabulous jewels escape from it!

From dream to jewel. Alongside the tales that bring her jewellery to life, Catherine Daymard listens to other stories… Your story! She dedicates all her imagination to your project and accompanies you in the creation of your exclusive piece of jewellery. What if you dared to turn your dream into a fabulous jewel?
